Crown Laboratories, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Marketing Intern – International Market Expansion

 

This position will be located in Johnson City, TN – (On-Site) 

Job Purpose:

The Marketing Intern will be part of the international market expansion team, playing a crucial role in supporting the team’s initiatives and contributing to the overall success of our brands by launching into new international markets. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing and sales, including assessing the competitive landscape for assigned country and positioning of the brand, market research, business case development, and in country marketing support.  The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, analytical and have a passion for the consumer.

 

 

Marketing Intern, International Market Expansion Responsibilities:

Market Assessment:

  • Understand the global brand positioning and in-market adaptation of the brand positioning based on the country assigned. 
  • Evaluate assigned country(s) on market size, consumer demand, competitive set, regulatory environment, and positioning of our brand(s) in country.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for expansion strategy based on market analysis.

Market Research:

  • Conduct and leverage market research to identify potential opportunities in target international regions.

Distributor Marketing Content Playbook:

  • Assist in the development of a marketing playbook that provides direction and content for the sales and marketing of our brand(s) in country assigned.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. sales, marketing, legal, logistics) to support international expansion projects.
  • Help identify and establish relationships with in-country partners, distributors, or stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management on expansion strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Fluency in another language other than English is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
