What You’ll Do:
- Learn, understand, and work towards fulfilling our mission, which is to help our clients secure their financial well-being so they can pursue long and fulfilling lives; and execute on our business strategies.
- Gain real world experience by working in different HR roles and functions at Equitable. This exposure will provide insights into what you enjoy doing and help inform your career choices going forward.
- Participate in a vigorous learning and development program, focusing on industry and business knowledge as well as technical skills.
- Build relationships throughout Equitable and network with senior leaders across the organization.
The HR Rotational Program is a corporate based 18-month rotational leadership development program, where you will work in three areas for four months each.
The base salary range for this position is $46,000 – $67,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in HR or related field
- Knowledge of effective agile project management strategies and tactics with the ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects

Effective Presentations: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques; ability to present information to groups with the appropriate degree of formality.
Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Storytelling: Knowledge of concepts and ability to plan, create and present business proposals, initiatives and ideas by storytelling actual business scenarios that are situation-specific, engaging, memorable and persuasive as compared to one-way, fact-based presentations.
Written Communications: Knowledge of written communications issues; ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrate command of language, clarity of thought, orderliness of presentation while communicating ideas, information and requirements effectively.
