POSITION SUMMARY: RVE, Inc. is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work with local NC staff to assist our marketing team in developing and implementing marketing campaigns, writing and editing marketing materials and preparing schedule-driven documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in marketing principles and a passion for learning and growth. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and develop your skills in writing, editing and proofreading. 

PRIMARY DUTIES: 

• Work with technical staff to update marketing materials including resumes and project descriptions to adhere to branding standards 

• Create and update content for presentations and/or company website 

• Organize materials and supplies for conferences and events 

• Create engaging posts for the company LinkedIn page and website 

• Assist with production of deliverables and collateral 

• Assist with local advertising initiatives and sponsorship opportunities 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities 

• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus. 

• Ability to establish working relationships 

• Uphold firm’s standards of conduct and ethics 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field from an accredited fouryear college or university. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in the field and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use.
