    The Montgomery County Interemdiate Unit’s School Psychologist Internship Program is open to graduate students enrolled in a School Psychology Master’s degree program and working towards a PDE certification in School Psychology. 

    The MCIU employs nine school psychologists and serves public and non-public schools throughout Montgomery County, PA. We offer a wide range of services to our schools including Autistic Support, Life Skills Support, Intensive Emotional Support, Multiple Disabilities Support, Mental Health services (including crisis response), non-public school services, and transition services. We also consult with school districts to provide BrainSTEPS consultations for students with brain injuries and Student Attendance Improvement Program (SAIP) evaluations for students with school refusal behaviors.

    Interns will receive diverse experience within our programs along with thorough training, support, and professional development opportunities. Interns also receive individual and group supervision as well as a competitive stipend. 

    Qualifications:
    Current enrollment in an accredited School Psychology Master’s Degree program and working towards a PDE certification.
