Job Description
International recruitment is essential to meeting the enrollment and financial goals of the University. While outreach is global, recruitment travel initiatives are focused in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, and North and South America. Responsibilities will include outreach to all audiences (prospective students, parents, counselors, alumni, etc.); attendance at college fairs and high school visits; conducting interviews; virtual events, and special programming. The Assistant Director will serve as a member of the Admissions Committee, evaluating credentials and rendering decisions that will benefit the applicant as well as the University. This position supports the Associate and Director and works closely within the university community “the academic divisions” staff and faculty, the Center for International Services, and externally with international organizations, agencies, and embassies.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement regional recruitment plan. This includes in person and virtual events; domestic and international travel; attendance at college fairs; visiting high schools; conducting personal interviews; and serving on college admissions panels. Conduct outreach and prompt follow-up with prospective students, parents, and counselors throughout the admissions process to build relationships. Develop relationships and conduct events with current students, alumni, and parents in assigned territories to provide support and garner assistance with recruitment and yield initiatives. Evaluate international credentials for admission and render decisions. Recommend students for merit scholarships. Monitor decisions for students in assigned region. Communicate with counselors and students to facilitate the completion of applications and the decision-making process. Meet all numeric targets for review within specified timeframe. Assist the Associate Director and Director with the development and implementation of the strategic plan to meet international enrollment goals. Manage assigned geographic territory including market research, knowledge of school/grading systems, culture, and best recruitment practices. Enhance the University’s presence and visibility among the various populations in assigned territory. Participate and support domestic recruitment on campus and in the field. This includes conducting information sessions, participation in campus events, field travel and conducting interviews. Complete administrative tasks related to expense reports, tracking contacts, events, conditional admission, as required and/or assigned. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required Three (3+) plus years of experience in admissions or related field preferred US Passport Valid US Driver’s License Strong relationship management skills Strong written and oral communication skills CRM (Slate) knowledge preferred
