OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
The Brand Manager is a position whose key areas of responsibility are as follows:
 
Client-focused Brand Strategy
  • Develop brand strategies for clients that help them achieve their business goals
  • Lead client engagements related to brand strategy (positioning, messaging, architecture, etc.)
  • Build engaging workshops to inform strategic exploration
  • Explore various paths to success using traditional branding and marketing capabilities
  • Support client decision making and ongoing execution through logical guidelines
 
Internal-focused Leaderboard Brand Strategy
  • Support further development of the Leaderboard brand
  • Collaborate with internal industry experts on meaningful content
  • Support use of brand differentiators to scope and develop new business opportunities
 
New Business Development
  • Be a team contributor to business growth
  • Identify new needs where strategy can support growth with new and existing clients
  • Pitch and scope brand strategy needs alongside client relationship leads

  • Proven professional with specific experience in brand strategy
  • Collaborative player excited to build new relationships
  • Self-starter and accountable
  • Efficient and effective working style as deadlines drive many of our timelines
  • Demonstrates fundamental business communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confident problem-solver and experience leading process improvement efforts
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to increase knowledge, skills and abilities

REQUESTED BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
 
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Brand marketing, strategy or like experience in advertising or marketing appreciated
  • Pharmaceutical, medical or healthcare services experience appreciated
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Skilled in Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
