Location Details: Tempe, AZ

Hybrid: This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teams may work in-office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership. The hiring manager can share more about what hybrid work might look like for this team.

GoDaddy is looking for a Financial Analyst Intern to work with our Modeling and Insights Finance team. As an intern with our team, you will play a role in providing insightful financial analysis and support for strategic decision-making and driving profitable growth.   If you want to make a difference and help our customers make their dreams a reality, GoDaddy is for you! 

This is a temporary, 12 week internship assignment. 

What you’ll get to do…

• Assist in the month end close process for bookings and commerce teams.
• Experience working with different teams and how they operate within GoDaddy.
• Assist in analyzing impacts of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
• Develop detailed analyses on projects relative to the team’s objectives.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform ad-hoc requests in an efficient and effective manner.

Your experience should include…

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or similar.
• Proficiency and fluency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create formulas and work with pivot tables.
• Attention to detail, displays of strong inquisitiveness, and a constant desire to learn.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, initiative, and teamwork.

You might also have…

• Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, Python, etc.
• Experience with financial analysis through coursework and/or extracurricular activities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to accomplish a shared goal.
