We are currently seeking an intern, IT People Technology Engineer. This position requires a passionate student with a basic understanding of enterprise systems, HR, and a passion for EVs. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment
Role/Responsibilities:
- Support the team in updating configurations for HR systems
- Understand and reinvent the planning and delivery cycle for HR tools
- Participate in and support requirements gathering, testing, and documentation for software delivery
- Suggest improvements to shared team documentation, templates, and other working documents and reports
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in automating platforms to drive efficiency and enhanced processes
- Exposure to working with systems or software platforms
- Has a good understanding and is familiar with using Excel
- A detail-oriented and organized approach to documentation
- Great line of communication and ability to work cross-collaboratively
- Has a passion for working on projects within tools such as Google Docs or forms and creating automation
Education:
- Field(s)of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, HR or related fields
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university
- Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS)
Nice to Have:
- Experience working within SAP SuccessFactors or Work Force software is a plus.
Program Information:
- Timing: May- August, or June-September pending class schedules.
- Duration of Internship: Our internship program is 12 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs.
- Work Location & Environment: This position will be in Newark, CA, and is fully in-person. You must be prepared to start onsite for your first day of employment. The working environment will be a mix of lab & office work.
- Compensation: Student compensation is based on location and current degree level, non-negotiable ranging from $40 to $58.
- Relocation: May be provided on a case to case basis.
- Housing/Transportation: You must provide your own living arrangements and transportation in the local area.
- Background Check: All offers of employment are contingent on clearing a background check.
- Drug Screening: All offers of employment are contingent on passing a drug screen.
- Medical benefits: Dental, vision, and medical on day 1 for all interns working full-time.
- Visa Sponsorship: Lucid may but is not obligated to sponsor foreign national employees requiring company sponsorship for U.S employment authorization.
Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (hourly)
$40 – $58 USD
