Role
The Global Internship Programme is an exciting opportunity to get first-hand experience in a world-class marketing organisation. As part of our programme, you will be an active member of a professional and dynamic team in one of eleven locations. You will receive on-the-job learning and guided mentoring from our highly experienced teams while having access to global markets, exclusive trade events, interdisciplinary networks and most importantly, career building opportunities. Note:  This placement may involve some travel and work outside normal business hours. 

Key Results Area


 
  1. Assist with the organisation of Trade & Publicity events across the Western USA region including the West Coast Sales Mission Business to Business (B2B) and Public Relations (PR) events, potential consumer shows such as Travel Shows, and any other events run by the Western USA team.
  2. Support the team by working on a cross-functional basis across nationwide projects as dictated by business needs including Moments Strategy working groups, Ministerial visits, group media visits, B2B and PR events.
  3. Assist the Western USA Digital Publicity Executive with influencer campaigns, Screen Tourism activity and West Coast Media visits to the island of Ireland.
  4. Assist with compilation of presentations and reports such as monthly activity reports, quarterly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports, Situation and Outlook Analysis Reports (SOAR) etc.
  5. Ensure internal systems such as Marketing Reporting System MARS and CARMA are updated on a regular basis.
  6. Database management – assist the Western USA Business Partnership and Digital Publicity Executives with updating and maintaining Trade & Publicity databases in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  7. Provide administration support as required and instructed by line manager.
  8. Ensure adherence to the company’s GDPR compliance policies and procedures in respect of your area of work
  9. Represent Tourism Ireland at various industry, press and corporate events.
  10.  Such other duties as the company may from time to time reasonably require.
The Person
Essential

•    Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (all disciplines will be considered).
•    Must be returning to complete studies after the completion of the placement. 
•    The legal right to live and work on the island of Ireland for the full duration of the programme.
•    Fluent English, both oral and written, is required. 
•    Proficient in MS Office.
