Civil Engineer Intern – Public Works – Corpus Christi TX
 
Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Public Works team in our Corpus Christ TX office. The Civil Engineering Intern will help with Public Works projects. 
 
Civil Engineer Intern – Public Works Responsibilities:
  • Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
  • Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Public Works and Transportation projects
  • Perform drafting CAD work
  • Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
  • Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
  • Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
  • Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
Civil Engineer Intern – Public Works Requirements:
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree
  • Great communication skills
  • Solid relationship and team building skills
  • Self-motivated and strong organization skills
Interns are paid hourly and would work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8a-5p Monday thru Friday for the summer of 2025.
Half does not pay for or provide housing.
