Mansfield’s Accounting Internship will begin in December and continue through Spring Semester.  The position will be part-time (20hrs).  This internship will be a paid internship ($20/hour) in Gainesville, GA.   

Internship Overview

The Accounting Internship program is designed for students seeking a career within the areas of accounting, finance, business, procurement, law. This is an Internship opportunity for highly qualified college/university student obtaining their Bachelor’s Degree. The program provides the Student Intern practical work experience to augment their education and career preparation. During the work experience, the Student Intern will be responsible for managing the invoicing review and approval process and associated reporting, supporting the evaluation of software solutions and managing vendor relationships in Procurement.  This will include activities such as Invoice reviews, confirmation of service completion, and identifying workflow optimization opportunities.  This role will report to the Director of Procurement, and will work closely to ensure operational efficiency.
 
 Key Projects

The Accounting Procurement Intern will be assisting with the following:
 •    Manage invoice review and approvals
 •    Streamline processes and process documentation
 •    Assist with product evaluation
 •    Support spend analytics and reporting
 •    Supplier, product, and service evaluations
 •    Assist with contract reviews and negotiations
