Electrify America’s Internship Program targets undergraduate and graduate students who are eager to acquire practical real world experience in the EV industry. This program is designed for high potential, highly-mobile, and self-starter candidates with strong interest in the EV industry. Focused on the development of professional and technical competencies as well as on-the-job-training, our Internship Program is an excellent opportunity to explore career choices early on. At Electrify America, interns have the chance to make an impact because we challenge them and trust them to perform meaningful work.

  • 13-week Internship Program Start Date (negotiable- preferably starting as soon as possible)

Role Summary:

This Internship lies at the interface between Strategy and Finance will focus on deriving insights for the future development of Electrify America based on an analysis of both internal data sources and a deep dive of the market landscape.  

Role Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Industry Insights and evaluate the competitive landscape (50%)

As the largest open DC fast charging network in the U.S., Electrify America actively monitors industry trends. By closely monitoring developments, and conducting research on the market, you will translate insights into strategic recommendations by:

    • Conducting market analysis, identifying, and extracting key data
    • Defining comparison metrics and conducting benchmarks
    • Preparing findings for discussion with Senior Leadership

 

  • Analyze and structure Electrify America key data (50%)

Electrify America has showcased tremendous growth over the last years. The internship is designed to help Electrify America further build on that success by analyzing the data and learnings with a future-focused approach. In this role, you will:

    • Analyze the business performance of Electrify America in previous fiscal years
    • Organize data into clear, accessible formats for easy reference and action
    • Identify trends, highlights, and prepare presentations with actionable recommendations to the Electrify America team

Education (Required):

  • Must be in a current Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Program (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, etc.)

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills – interpersonal, presentation, and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail and organization
  • Computer savvy
  • Results oriented
  • Ethical practice and business integrity

Specialized Skills (Required):

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point
  • Proficiency in structuring and presenting data via charts/dashboards
  • Understanding of financial reporting, annual reports and business case structures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Work Flexibility:

  • Strong preference for the candidate to be local 
  • Willing to be flexible with class schedule’s

Salary range is dependent on factors such as geographical differentials, industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications.  

If you are in a Bachelor’s program: $20.00 an hour

If you are in a Master’s program: $22.00 an hour
