The HDFCCC Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) aims to foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within the research workforce. This includes supporting trainees, faculty, staff, Center leadership, and advisory boards through an accountable, stakeholder-engaged approach that promotes institutional and individual-centered change and seeks to expand opportunities for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support HDFCCC Office of DEIA leadership with programmatic and logistical tasks for DEIA events.
- Develop a DEIA project within the Cancer Center.
- Review the HDFCCC Office of DEIA website to document needed edits, broken links, updated resources, etc.
- Research and identify DEIA educational materials focused on education, health, community, activism, leadership opportunities, and more.
- Attend weekly supervision meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Full-time enrollment in a graduate degree program at the University of California, San Francisco.
- Previous experience in Student Affairs, intercultural work, or social justice programming.
- Strong understanding of marginalized communities, intersectionality, anti-racist, and social justice frameworks.
