We are looking for college intern who will be passionate to work for Envoy Air, the largest regional airline part of the American Airlines Group (AAG). This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the unique opportunity to work with a team of professionals to share your creative ideas to continue to build the Envoy brand, support recruiting efforts and translate complex concepts into easy to understand materials for our different audiences.  Envoy operates Embraer E-175 aircraft and has a new fleet E-170 aircraft. The regional airline has expanded its network outside of the U.S. to international destinations in Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

 

Our paid 11-week summer internship will not only enhance your studies, but also provide an educational experience you can’t find in the classroom. As an intern, you will learn real world skills while building a professional network of future peers. You will learn the ins and outs of how your team impacts the business day to day and gain an understanding of the commercial aviation business.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Create, launch and evaluate educational materials for Envoy Inflight Services Department to meet specific learning goals and standards in accordance with Envoy operational and FAA guidelines.
  • Participate in the creation of an E-Learning project.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the Flight Attendant Inflight Procedures Manual.
  • Support the creation, management and distribution of Flight Attendant content.

Typical job duties include:

  • Creating multimedia resources to support student learning. This may include video, interactive presentations, e-learning modules and other digital resources that provide alternative ways for students to engage with content.
  • Evaluate materials to measure effectiveness in meeting needs of students.
  • Tracking and analyzing Flight Attendant safety data for Flight Service safety meetings.
  • Participating in Flight Service safety meetings and assisting in the development of mitigation strategies and reports.
  • Reviewing and writing content, providing feedback, and ensuring materials align with current procedures, safety regulations, and operational standards.
  • Documenting investigations and Safety Risk Management.
  • Collaborating on cross-departmental projects (e.g. working with Flight, Maintenance, Training, Safety).


Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects to meet deadlines and objectives. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time and be self-motivated.

 

Position Requirements: 

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Aviation Management, Safety Management, Education, Curriculum Development or related field
  • Must be classified as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student upon start of internship.
  • 3.0 minimum Grade Point Average
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with ADDIE method
  • Must demonstrate the highest degree of integrity as work involves access to confidential data
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
