Job Description
we are seeking motivated individuals to help us launch our brand identification through various specialized marketing campaigns and strategies. The Marketing Specialist Intern will support the team in cultivating overall company messaging, branding, and promotional outreach. The Marketing Specialist Intern will attend various industry related shows and expositions around Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.
The candidates Must have great social media experience to include: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others. Marketing and sales experience a plus.
This position is best suited for an individual who is interested in pursuing a business and/or marketing career. It will provide you with great growth opportunities and connections.
Required – Marketing for Small Business, Marketing Communications, Research Experience, Database Development
Additional duties:
Conduct research, develop sales and marketing materials, content management and updates to website, client database, assistance and support in organizing, preparing, and executing various events. utllizing social media to engage with a community of members
Coordinate online marketing and advertising campaigns outreach efforts to members and clients via phone or email. your information will be kept confidential a
Compensation: $500 monthly stipend
Proficient in the use of various social media tools including Facebook and LinkedIn.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Marketing, PR, or related majors are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Must be pursuing or completed undergraduate or graduate degree;
Bring excellent social media and communications skills;
Demonstrated writing ability, research skills; professional demeanor; and computer proficiency.
• Junior or Senior college student
• Flexibility to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with the ability to work one to two extra hours per month for special events as needed
• A minimum of 20 hours per week requested
