     REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN – Plainville High School Connections Program

    Responsibilities for the Behavior Technician position include working independently to implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reductions plans, data collection and selected assessments under the supervision of a special education teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in order to ensure students with significant disabilities are demonstrating academic, social, emotional and behavioral growth in the least restrictive environment.  Must demonstrate the skills of flexibility, problem-solving, self-motivation, and effective communication skills. May be assigned to support students at other buildings when needed.  Hourly Rate of Pay can be found in the Para/Tutor Contract located on our website at www.plainvilleschools.org.

    High school diploma; Associates Degree or higher preferred.  Must have Registered Behavior Technician Certification.
