Job Description Summary
The Coordinator of Internships and Employer Relations is responsible for coordinating internship and experiential learning activities, serving as a central source for identifying, developing, and promoting internship opportunities; supporting the matching process between student interns and employers; facilitating placement of students in internship positions; managing employer recruitment inquiries and requests; collaborating with individual academic departments to enhance existing internship programs and assist in the development of new programs. Collaborate with Partnerships and Economic Development ( PED ) staff and other College offices and departments as appropriate to promote and facilitate student internship placement.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Associate’s degree or equivalent formal training in a related field. Four years of related experience in developing internships and/or developing and maintaining community partner relationships with businesses, non-profits, and government agencies required. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
