Job Description Summary
The Coordinator, Internships and Employer Relations is responsible for coordinating internship and experiential learning activities, serving as a central source for identifying, developing, and promoting internship opportunities; supporting the matching process between student interns and employers; facilitating placement of students in internship positions; managing employer recruitment inquiries and requests; collaborating with individual academic departments to enhance existing internship programs and assist in the development of new programs; and addressing risk management issues. The Coordinator of Internships and Employer Relations also supports employer partnerships through the development and oversight of the department’s Employer Advisory Board.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Associate’s degree or equivalent formal training in a related field. Four years of related experience in developing internships and/or developing and maintaining community partner relationships with businesses, non-profits, and government agencies required. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
