    PRIMARY TASKS & MAJOR ACTIVITIES

     

    The School Psychologist Intern works under the guidance of the school psychologist to provide psycho-educational evaluations and consultation to general and special education teachers, administrators, support personnel and parents/families. Continuous attention is given to assisting multi-disciplinary teams at the building level to design, develop, and implement interventions for students with challenging behavior problems. The School Psychologist Intern will possess good people skills, flexibility, the ability to work under pressure, stay on task, be responsible, reliable, self-starter, and have the ability to adjust to change.

     

    EDUCATIONAL/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

     

    Education level:  Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in Advanced/ Specialist’s degree in School Psychology program. Must be in the process of completion of internship requirements. Certification or Licensure â? Working toward the goal of pursuing Missouri K-12 School Psychologist Certificate; eligible for professional certification upon completion of internship/program required
