Comments to applicant: Position Overview: Creekside High School is looking to hire a Assistant Basketball Coach for the 2024-2025 season. Florida law requires all Athletic Coaches to hold either a valid Florida Educator Certificate or a valid Athletic Coaching Certificate. The Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates. The Three-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate is issued to provide time to complete the Five-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate requirements. An additional Athletic Coaching Certificate is not required for individuals who hold a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate. Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), AND AED training,	Days per Year:
